April 27th, 2013 - The Commodore Chorus competed at the Mid-Atlantic District's Southern Contest in Reston, VA, finishing 3rd in Plateau AAA.

April 18th, 2013 - The Daylight Singing Time ensemble performed for the residents of the Golden Living Center on London Boulevard in Portsmouth, VA.

April 11th, 2013 - Celebrating the 75th anniversary of our Barbershop Harmony Society, three Norfolk Chapter quartets visited 39 local area families of deployed military service men and women to deliver a love song, a greeting card, and a rose to each family.

April 4th, 2013 - The Daylight Singing Time ensemble performed for the residents of Sentara Village on South Newtown Road in Norfolk, VA.

March 17th, 2013 - The Commodore Chorus performed for the St. Mary's School for Disabled Children in Virginia Beach, VA

March 10th, 2013 - The Acclaim! quartet performed for the Sunshine Club's St. Patrick's Day celebration at St. Matthew's Church in Virginia Beach, VA.

February 26th, 2013 - The Acclaim! quartet performed for a very appreciative group of convention/reunion planners.

February 19th, 2013 - The Acclaim! quartet performed for the residents at Clare Bridge Virginia Beach Estates on Diamond Springs Road in Virginia Beach, VA.

February 14th and 15th, 2013 - Quartets from the Norfolk Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, which includes members of the Commodore Chorus, performed more than 30 Singing Valentines on behalf of loved ones in the Hampton Roads Area. February 14th, 2013 - The Acclaim! quartet serenaded Norfolk, VA, Mayor Paul D. Fraim as he signed a proclamation of April 7-11, 2013 to be Barbershop Harmony Week in Norfolk:
            

February 12th, 2013 - The Acclaim! quartet performed for a Valentine party at the Atlantic Shores Retirement Community in Virginia Beach, VA. One of the residents, 92-year old Dean Hatheway, joined the quartet in singing Let Me Call
     
You Sweetheart. Dean is accustomed to performing Singing Valentines as a member of The Blenders quartet. Also, Acclaim! presented Dean with his 40-year Barbershop Harmony Society membership pin.
