The Commodore Chorus is the performing chorus of the Norfolk, Virginia chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, a 501(c)(3) organization based in Nashville, TN which boasts more than 28,000 members throughout the world. Our Chapter was chartered 52 years ago on March 28, 1957 and is a significant part of the history and heritage of barbershop harmony in the Southern Division of the Mid-Atlantic District. Members of our chapter hail from all areas of Hampton Roads and include guys from as far north as Kilmarnock, VA, and as far south as the Outer Banks of North Carolina!
The Commodore Chorus is proud of our many achievements which include being selected as the Intermediate Chorus Champions for the Southern Division of the Mid-Atlantic District in 2001, 2004, & 2006, and were most recently named the AAA-level Champions for 2007 and 2008!
